In flour factories it is placed over flour and bran silos to enable discharging the air filled inside the silo during pneumatic transport. In bakehouses used for cleaning the dusty air of used for transporting the flour in sacks to silos. It works without the neccessity of pressurised air for cleaning the sacks. For discharging the filtered air it supplies fresh air without neccesity for a chimney.
